Featuring authentic Quebec-style dishes, chef and co-owner, Pierre Robillard, a recent migrant from Montreal to Toronto, excels at preparing mouth-watering cuisine for locals and residents from afar.  Café du Lac boasts one of the best fois gras poutine dishes (according to Toronto Star food critic Corey Mintz) to be found outside of the Quebec region. A selection of Quebec beer and cheese compliments the tasty menu.

Atmosphere is cosy and fun! The friendly co-owner, Kathryn, encourages patrons to relax and enjoy their scrumptious meals insideoutside on the patio. Alternate Fridays, one can listen to live blues, experience a true Quebec-style brunch (including homemade creton!) on Sundays.

The venue has also played host to a number of outstanding private parties since its inception and is a great location for intimate gatherings to celebrate events.
